audio plugins
Three audio effects I wrote between 2005 and 2010, rebuilt for current architectures and released for free in 2026. AU and VST3 on macOS (universal), VST3 on Windows. Free and open source under GPLv3.

Rubbadub
A delay designed for versatility. As a dub delay it syncs to host tempo with rhythmic divisions, with a state variable filter in the feedback line. At the shortest delay times it becomes a through-zero flanger with a range of modulation options. Time is split into three ranges for detailed control. When the modulation is pushed to the limit, the sound transforms into a rubbery gelatinous substance that defies description.

Smear
A granulation effect where the sample is a one second buffer of incoming audio. Four grains are created from the input, sized randomly between the minimum and maximum grain size, each with its own level and pan. A feedback control sends the granulated signal back into the buffer to be granulated again. Window shapes range from the classics (Gauss, Hann, Blackman) to non-standard shapes that produce glitchy or percussive results.

CrazyVerb
A reverb built on a 16-line feedback delay network. Low and high frequencies decay independently, with separate T60 times and a transition frequency between them, plus a diffusion control. The split-spectrum decay makes tails that darken or brighten as they fade.
